Job DescriptionThis role involves screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities using occupational therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard occupational therapy practices. The position extends to consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers, and collaborating with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, patient‑centered care.

- Provide skilled occupational therapy services with up‑to‑date practices, including evaluations, treatments, care planning, and goal setting based on patient assessments.
- Meet established productivity standards for the department or service line.
- Maintain thorough, timely patient records and complete patient billing accurately and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers regarding patient needs and goals.
- Supervise assistants, aides, office staff, and students to ensure high‑quality patient care.
- Engage in continuing education and promote learning opportunities for staff according to licensure requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement processes, including safe equipment use, clinical outcome enhancement, patient access and experience, and audits.
- Attend interdisciplinary, staff, and professional meetings in collaboration with leaders.
- Contribute to program development and marketing strategies to grow the occupational therapy program.

- Current Occupational Therapist license in the operating state(s).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Basic computer skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with target populations of the job setting.
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Visual, auditory, and manual dexterity to read, communicate, and manipulate equipment.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients, as well as navigate complex work environments.
- Capacity to perform standing and walking tasks while handling supplies and equipment.

Pay Range$42.00/hr – $65.00/hr
