.
This part-time Dietitian will work onsite 8 hours per week.
The RD will lead and direct the functions of clinical nutrition services; nutrition assessment, counseling/consultation, performance improvements ensuring high quality nutritional care is provided to patients while meeting Federal, State and local standards.

Responsibilities- Prefer previous healthcare experience.
- Supports and delivers the highest level of nutrition care to patients to meet the customer’s overall needs.
- Calculate nutritional needs, establish goals, and implement medical nutrition therapy for patients based on their overall nutritional status.
- Establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs which lead to optimal clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomes
- Comply with regulatory standards – Federal and State and accrediting agencies adhering to confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, residents’ right policies and Joint Commission regulations.
- Collaborate with IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) to provide quality nutrition and culinary program
- Review menu cycle for nutrient analysis and diet consistencies
- Supports quality assurance initiatives in the kitchen
- Implement Health & Wellness initiatives
- 1-3 years of acute care or mental health and Registered Dietitian experience
- Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
- Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
