The Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within an organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s overall business objectives. Key responsibilities include managing the recruitment and selection process, administering employee benefits and payroll, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

The Human Resource Manager also provides support and guidance to employees and management on HR-related matters, handles employee relations issues, and leads performance management and training initiatives. In addition, this role provides key operational support with time dedicated to providing back up to the Safety Officer and Purchasing; listing and selling laboratory items on eBay on behalf of the lab;
Log In review and invoice review; and marketing support. Additional duties as assigned or as operations require.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or HR certifications (such as SHRM or HRCI) are preferred.
  • Proven experience in human resources management, typically 3-5 years or more in HR roles.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
  • Leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, training, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
