What You’ll Do
  • ✅ Operate plant equipment and systems to produce and load quality product, including DCS and manual systems.
  • ✅ Load liquid fertilizer into tanker trucks and perform outside operations including manual valves.
  • ✅ Monitor utility equipment such as boilers, cooling towers and air systems.
  • ✅ Inspect vessels and equipment, read and record instrumentation, and take product samples.
  • ✅ Follow and enforce safety procedures, including hazardous waste handling, emergency response and plant safety programs.
  • ✅ Support maintenance and turnaround activities, and understand confined space entry.
  • ✅ Keep the plant and surrounding area clean,vény safe and organized.
  • ✅ Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors and contractors.
Qualifications
  • ✔ High school diploma or GED.
  • ✔ At least one year of experience in a chemical, industrial or similar plant setting.
  • ✔ Mechanical and technical aptitude, with strong attention to detail.
  • ✔ Ability to work-layer a 12‑hour swing shift (days, nights, weekends, holidays) on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
  • ✔ Commitment to safety and reliability in all weather conditions.
  • ✔ Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • ✔ Computer and basic math skills; ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Nice to Have
  • ➕ Good computer literacy for loading and inventory documentation.
  • ➕ Understanding of D.O.T. shipping and safety regulations.➕ Desire to advance within operations and take on increasing responsibilities.
