Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with trauma and Da Vinci Xi Surgical System experience for a day shift position at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Responsibilities- Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
- Level 1 Trauma Center with cases in trauma, general, neuro, ortho, vascular, and thoracic surgery
- Specific neuro procedures include ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, cervical fusions, craniotomy, VP shunt insertion, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, and XLIF
- Utilizes Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
- Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Call is required as part of the schedule
- Floating only by agreement during the interview or offer process
- Scrubs are provided
- Role involves circulating and scrubbing for a wide range of complex surgical procedures
- First time travelers are accepted if all hard requirements are met
- Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start
- Return staff must have a minimum 1-year gap before consideration
- Scrub attire is provided by the facility
- Active MT or Compact RN license
- Minimum 3 years of prior Operating Room RN experience required
- BLS certification required
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience is required
- Strong background in trauma, general, neuro, ortho, vascular, and thoracic surgery required
- Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System required
- Experience with specified neuro procedures required: ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, cervical fusions, craniotomy, VP shunt insertion, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, and XLIF
- Candidates must reside at least 75 miles away from facility
- References required for consideration
