American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring a MT or compact RN license and at least 1 year of PACU experience.

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Uses Epic for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

• Active MT or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), with ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for the unit, none expiring prior to start
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in PACU required
• Epic charting experience required

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted nursing practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
• Provide supportive and restorative therapy directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Returning staff must be separated from any facility within this health system for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
