Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Wound​/Ostomy Care

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Wound Care Clinic position requiring 3+ years of wound care experience and MT or compact RN licensure.

• Active RN license (Montana or Compact) currently in hand
• BLS certification required
• Wound care certification not required
• 3 years minimum wound care experience required
• Skilled in dressing changes, wound wrapping, wound vac management, drain care, wet-to-dry dressings, and wound packing
• Casting experience preferred

• Work in a hospital-based Wound Care Clinic with 6 patient suites
• Average daily census of 35-50 patients
• Adult patient population with diabetes, vascular disease, reduced extremity blood flow, frostbite, burns, podiatry wounds, post-amputation, and hyperbaric needs
• Pre/post-surgical wound care provided
• Uses Cerner EMR and Intellacare for wound care documentation
• Set schedule of 7:45A-4:15P, Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• No floating required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Closed weekend rotation and closed holiday schedule
• Provide wound care services including dressing changes, wound vac management, and wound packing for a diverse adult patient population
• Work alongside a team of 4 wound care nurses, a manager/supervisor, 3 medical assistants, 1 wound care MD, and 4 wound care APPs
• Orientation includes New Employee Orientation (NEO) plus 1-2 shifts of unit-specific orientation
• RTO requests must be approved through the manager
• Scrubs must be a solid professional color with no graphics, logos, or designs
