As an Inside Sales/Counter Sales Associate, you will be a key part of our sales team, working directly with contractors, builders, and walk‑in customers to support their building material needs. Your primary responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, recommending the right products, driving sales both in person at the sales counter and over the phone, processing transactions, managing inventory, and maintaining a professional and organized sales environment.

• Engage with customers at the sales counter and over the phone to understand their needs and recommend appropriate building materials and solutions.
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Develop strong product knowledge to confidently answer questions and offer recommendations.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and repeat customers.
• Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and process returns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehouse and yard teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery.
• Support merchandising, stocking, and pricing of products in the sales area.
• Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends.

• Prior inside sales or counter sales experience in construction or building materials is a plus.
• Construction knowledge or hands‑on building experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑first attitude.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Self‑motivated with excellent problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.
• Able to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
