Company Overview: We are a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) specializing in providing cutting-edge IT services to businesses of all sizes. We help organizations streamline their technology operations with comprehensive IT management, cybersecurity solutions, and cloud services. We’re looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. As an SDR, you’ll be at the forefront of our sales engine, generating high-quality leads and setting the stage for the growth of our client base.
Position Overview: As an SDR, you will play a crucial role in the sales process by identifying and qualifying leads, setting up appointments and building strong relationships with potential clients. Your primary focus will be on outbound prospecting, event registrations, and qualifying leads for our sales team to convert into long-term clients. You will be responsible for driving our pipeline and contributing to the success of our sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Generate and Qualify Leads:
Prospect for potential clients via cold calls, emails, and other outreach methods. Qualify leads to ensure they fit our ideal customer profile (ICP) - Event Registrations:
Promote and drive 20-100 registrations per month for webinars, briefings, and other marketing events. - Schedule and Book Appointments:
Book 10-50 First Time Appointments (FTAs) per month and ensure they are qualified for the next step in the sales cycle. - Build Relationships:
Maintain professional, proactive communication with leads through various channels (email, phone, social media). - Follow-Up:
Consistently follow up with leads to convert them into active prospects and ensure high engagement. - Collaborate with Sales Team:
Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads for the discovery call process and beyond. - Track and Report Performance:
Keep accurate records of all outreach efforts, leads generated, and appointments scheduled in our CRM system. KPI reporting is non-negotiable. - Note: this involves cold calling and you will need to be comfortable making cold calls
- Proven experience in a sales development or inside sales role, preferably within the MSP, IT, or technology industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage potential clients effectively.
- Comfortable with outbound sales and cold-calling in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a passion for personal development and a results-driven mentality.
- A strong understanding of IT services and cybersecurity is a plus but not required.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
