POSITION: Construction Services Technician
SHIFT: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm;
Friday, 7:00 am - 11:00 am
PAY RATE: $23.00 - $26.00+ per hour (DOE) + Daily Per Diem* + Full Benefit Package
LOCATION: Billings, MT
*$50 daily per diem when working at a jobsite outside of Billings (MT)

Summary of ResponsibilitiesResponsible for installing miscellaneous steel, egress, and structural components in commercial or industrial settings. Fit-up, weld, and clean-up of steel handrail, guardrail, stairs, and other mild steel components.
Essential Job Functions- Install miscellaneous steel, egress components, and structural components in various settings.
- Fit-up, weld, and clean-up of steel handrails, guardrails, stairs, and other mild steel components.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Operate manlifts, forklifts, and small power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with applying caulking and grout to joints and steel bases.
- Unload delivery trucks manually or with machinery.
- This is an entry-level position, performed under supervision.
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards.
- Maintain dependable attendance and perform other duties as assigned, including onsite work when necessary.
- Basic welding, grinding, and mechanical fastening skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to tow trailers and equipment.
- First Aid and OSHA training preferred.
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and work remotely.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read tape measures (imperial and metric).
- Strong teamwork, safety awareness, responsibility, and credibility.
- At least 1 year of steel or precast concrete installation experience preferred.
Frequent Montana-wide travel; 2-5 nights overnight weekly; lodging paid by the company; $50 daily per diem for meals/incidentals.
Level 2 & 3 PositionsLevel 2: Mid-level, minimal supervision, 3+ years experience, OSHA 10 preferred, advanced computer skills.
Level 3: High-level, supervisory experience, OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred, capable of managing crews and working independently.
