Overview
JOB TITLE:
Catholic Mass Musician
LOCATION:
Keesler AFB. Catholic Chapel, Biloxi, MS 39534
- Provides instrumental and accompaniment music for congregation singing and choral selections
- Demonstrates proficiency on a secondary instrument of either piano, organ, guitar, bass guitar, and/or other basic instrument
- Reads sheet music or is able to accompany with basic improv
- Provides instrumental and accompaniment music to support rehearsals and worship services, including Catholic worship hymns and choral selections
- Two (2) years’ experience performing worship and music services for a Catholic church/chapel, preferably within the past five (5) years
- Familiarity with the essential teaching and religious practices of the Roman Catholic Church
- Shall be able to play piano and/or organ
