Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Care PRN

Job Description

• Provides respiratory care to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
  • Develops, implements, and/or adjusts orders based on patient assessment and patient response to therapy
  • Provides scheduled and emergency therapy and/or diagnostic tests to patients/clients per policy and standard procedures
  • Maintains accountability for patient care delegated or scheduled to others
• Communicates patient/family health care needs to the appropriate health care provider
  • Provides accurate and timely documentation in patient care records per policy and standard procedures
  • Communicates directly with appropriate health care team as needed
  • Participates in team conferences and/or care coordination activities as needed

Education:

Respiratory Therapy Associate's Degree.

Licensure:
Respiratory Care Practitioner or temporary permit issued by the MS State Board of Health as well as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Experience:

One (1) Year of experience in all phases of respiratory care.
