Registered Nurse - Infusion

Join Prompt Care as a Registered Home Infusion Nurse. Support patients with specialized care in their own homes, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.

Promptcare is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Home Infusion Nurses to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Registered Home Infusion Nurse, you will administer intravenous medications, educate patients and families, and maintain high quality care.

Full‑time. Mon‑Fri with on‑call responsibilities.

Biloxi, MS and surrounding areas within a 50‑mile radius.

• Registered Nurse in the state of employment and in good standing
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Professional Liability Insurance
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of PIV, Mid‑Line, PICC Line, Tunneled Catheters, and Ports
• At least 2 years’ experience as a home infusion nurse, or equivalent in another field‑based home nursing organization
• ED experience preferred
• Proficiency in IV insertion, vascular access devices, and infusion pumps
• Heart failure nurse training and/or certification highly desirable
• Strong pediatric peripheral IV skills preferred
• Certified Nurse Infusionist (CRNI) preferred
• Experience with inotropes, intravenous immunoglobulin, and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)

• Conduct initial nursing assessments for home infusion therapy
• Train patients/caregivers on procedures and equipment
• Develop and revise care plans with the healthcare team
• Visit patients, document compliance, and provide direct care
• Assume on‑call duties and manage patient supplies
• Coordinate care with other agencies and counsel patients on therapy
• Collaborate with pharmacists for therapy adjustments
• Plan efficient daily routes and submit nursing notes promptly
• Triage field problems and adhere to SOPs and regulations
• Deliver “white glove” service and submit travel expense reports
• Project a positive attitude and participate in employee activities
• Provide nursing services as requested, including weekends and evenings
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, climbing, maneuvering in small areas, and lifting or moving 30 pounds or more.
