WE LOVE OUR WORK.

• Ensure culinary standards and operational guidelines are followed within a specific outlet during a shift, including kitchen areas, food prep, and facilities.
• Manage all aspects of food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, stock levels, and problem resolution.
• Recommend menu changes and plan menus to improve food costs, volume, quality, and presentation.
• Perform various culinary tasks as needed, including broiler, sauté, Asian cuisine, and prep work.
• Meet or exceed sanitation standards (Serv Safe certified).
• Support safety and accident prevention programs, including knife handling and proper lifting techniques.
• Monitor and implement garbage separation and disposal standards.
• Coordinate workflow during shifts to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Engage with customers, solicit feedback on food quality, and address concerns professionally.
• Represent the company positively and motivate others to do the same.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited institution is preferred.
• At least two years of progressively challenging experience in a high-volume, quality food establishment.
• Knowledge of menu planning, soups, sauces, meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Understanding of food and labor costs.
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent customer service and employee relations skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to listen and respond to visual and auditory cues.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve operational goals.
• Compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards.
• Effective labor management to minimize overtime and optimize staffing based on guest traffic.
• Complete required training and understand policies and procedures.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
• Knowledge of and compliance with departmental, property, and company policies.
• Maintain health department standards; inspection scores should meet or exceed standards. Ensure restaurant cleanliness.
• Ensure value and pricing standards of the outlet.
• Physically capable of pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting up to 25 lbs., and performing tasks requiring reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, stacking, crouching, kneeling, and balancing in various work areas.
