Status: Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt

Pay: $20 - $23 per hour (based on experience)

As an HVAC Service Billing Specialist
, you play a critical role in ensuring service and install work is billed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies. You'll work closely with technicians, service managers, and accounting to turn completed work into clear, accurate customer invoices.

In this role, you will:

• Work closely with technicians, service managers, and accounting to review completed work and prepare accurate customer invoices.
• Ensure all services, materials, memberships, and costs are captured correctly, supporting timely billing and month-end reporting.
• Assist customers with invoice and payment questions, providing friendly, professional support and helping resolve discrepancies.
• Support billing and accounts receivable processes and reporting, while helping maintain compliance with company policies, tax requirements, and membership terms.

You're detail-oriented, highly organized, and take pride in producing accurate, high quality work. You enjoy solving challenges as they arise, improving processes, and collaborating with others to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

What helps you succeed in this role:

• Relevant experience: Billing, bookkeeping, or administrative experience; HVAC or field service industry experience is a strong plus.
• Comfort with technology: Experience using billing or accounting software, strong data entry skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Detail-driven mindset: Accuracy, organization, and consistency are second nature to you.
• Strong communication skills: You can clearly and professionally communicate with customers, technicians, and managers.
• Problem-solving ability: You're proactive in identifying and resolving billing discrepancies.
