UHS Orthopedics is seeking a Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon (Hand) to join their team, supporting growth and succession planning. The practice has a regional referral base and a large primary care team to support specialists. Currently, the team includes three joint surgeons (knee, hip, shoulder), a hand surgeon, two sports medicine surgeons, a trauma surgeon, two non-op sports medicine physicians, and two physiatrists.
The practice supports APPs to enhance patient care and has excellent clinical and administrative staff. It is located in a modern facility with multidisciplinary services including Physical Therapy, Podiatry, Chiropractic, and Rheumatology.
Opportunities include teaching residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University, involvement in the education of the UHS sports medicine fellow, and participation in clinical research. The position offers a competitive starting salary of $650,000 to $800,000, with benefits such as a sign-on bonus, moving expenses, malpractice insurance, and a comprehensive retirement plan.
