About SUNY Broome Community College:
SUNY Broome Community College is a comprehensive community college located in the scenic Southern Tier of New York. The College has over 7,700 students annually, and services over 6,100 students per semester in Liberal Arts, Business & Professional Studies, Health Sciences, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs. Job Description:
SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for part-time adjunct instructors teaching in the Early Childhood Education department.
Applications for Adjunct Instructor positions are accepted on a continuous basis. Candidates are contacted and hired as opportunities arise, depending on the college'sneeds.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in the field, or a Master's with at least
18 graduatecredithours in the field, is required. - Teaching experience is required; preferably at the community college level.
- Experience with Brightspace or a willingness to train in Brightspace preferred.
- Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.
Additional Information:
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
