Job Description:
SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for part-time adjunct instructors teaching in the Mathematics department.
Applications for Adjunct Instructor positions are accepted on a continuous basis. Candidates are contacted and hired as opportunities arise, depending on the college'sneeds.
The Mathematics Department is seeking part-time adjuncts to teach courses ranging from basic algebra to pre-calculus, statistics, and liberal arts math.
Courses are scheduled between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm on campus.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field is required.
A Master's degree in Mathematics is preferred. - Teaching experience is required; preferably at the community college level.
- Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
Additional Information:
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
