Job Description

Budget title:
Division I Assistant Coach (SL‑2)

Salary:
Commensurate with experience

Binghamton University, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the America East Conference, is seeking an Assistant Sports Performance Coach. This position will serve as the primary sports performance coach for assigned athletic programs; responsible for the program development, implementation, and coaching for those teams. This person will also assist the Head Coach Sports Performance in the general operation of the Sports Performance program.

The selected candidate is required to hold current CPR/AED and First Aid certification or obtain it within 30 days of employment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or related field
  • Current NCSA/CSCS certification and/or CSCCa/SCCC certification
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to NCAA rules and regulations
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification or ability to obtain them within 30 days of employment
Preferred
  • Master's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or related field
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a collegiate or professional strength and conditioning environment
