Essential Duties And Responsibilities

We seek an ambitious engineering professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, positive, and passionate about building relationships. This role requires self-motivation, a strong work ethic, strategic thinking, and close work with senior program engineering management.

Technical Responsibilities Include

• Leading or participating in program reviews, supporting management reviews, and coordinating technical activities among IPTs.
• Conducting weekly/monthly Cost Account Management reviews and overseeing technical, cost, and schedule performance.
• Influencing leadership to accept new practices and technologies.
• Reporting to a Program Engineering Manager responsible for delivering solutions.
• Improving existing processes or establishing new systems, championing new concepts or technologies.
• Recommending strategies impacting business or functional results.
• Working independently and proactively as a team leader.
• Building relationships and handling interpersonal interactions effectively.
• Communicating clearly with government and industry leaders.
• Analyzing performance and managing technical, schedule, and cost risks.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least nine years of technical and project experience, with leadership in traditional and Agile environments.
• Military or defense industry experience.
• Proven success in fast-paced development environments.
• Experience with tools like Clearcase, Clear quest, DOORs, and EVM.
• Active DoD Secret or higher clearance within the last 5 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance and Special Program Access.
• Flexibility for occasional overtime, travel, and shift work.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Modeling and Simulation.
• Technical interface with DOD customers.
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops , Agile tools, and open mission systems.
• Mentoring skills and excellent communication.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Current Special Access Program (SAP) access.

Security Responsibilities

Adhere to all security policies, properly handle information, and maintain confidentiality. Must be eligible for a DoD security clearance. U.S. citizenship required.
