Designer - Transmission Lines

We are currently hiring a Designer in LaBella’s Program Management Services Division at our client’s office in Binghamton, NY (hybrid work model).

The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $100,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD work during the conceptual engineering phase of the project.
• Support the detailed engineering phase by drafting key concepts to convey design intent to the engineers.
• Review a sample of all drawings supplied by the detailed engineering firm to ensure compliance with Owner’s CAD standards, including:
• Border and revision procedures and compliance
• Line and text style weights, fonts, heights, etc.
• Overall drawing format issues
• Proper use of CAD layers in drawings
• Review and properly file all as-built drawings associated with projects.
