Behavioral Health Counselor - Student Assistance Program - Full Time

Responsibilities- Provides behavioral health counseling services.
- Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.
- Administers individual and group therapy; maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.
- Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
- Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
- Works directly with the patient, family, physician, and community providers to ensure active and collaborative care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.
- Attends school related meetings as requested by the district.
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field.
- No licensing required.
- Essential functions:
Provide behavioral health counseling and education for students centered around substance use prevention.
The pay range for this position is $18.55 - $29.40/hr.
