Radiology - CT Tech

Day rotational; 40 hours per week (7 on/7 off from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM).

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT will ensure that the evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment, and staff are administered in a manner that is accurate, timely, responsive, and reliable. The position serves a variety of customers, including employees, Medical Staff, patients, and regulatory agencies, with a strong focus on activities that directly affect customer service.

• Maintain confidentiality of patients and hospital information.
• Comply with all hospital policies and procedures pertaining to incident reporting.
• Perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
• Demonstrate adequate radiation safety practices for patients and co-workers.
• Participate in all Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures.
• Provide patient education as required.
• Maintain effective communications with referring physicians and radiologist staff for efficient delivery of CT procedures.
• Abide by the service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology.
• Adhere to accepted clinical principles, methods, and procedures while performing CT procedures.

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology.
• NYS Radiology Technologist license (NYS Department of Health).
• ARRT (R) Certification.
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).
• ARRT CT Registration preferred.
