OverviewThe UHS Pediatrics Binghamton Medical Center is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to our Pediatric group practice. This is a full-time, exempt position suitable for both experienced and new graduate NPs, in a focused, collaborative environment.
The NP will provide general medical care and treatment to patients under physician supervision. Responsibilities include physical examinations, preventive health measures, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, recording findings, formulating care plans, and consulting with physicians and other health professionals. The role requires graduation from an accredited nurse practitioner program, board certification, and licensure in New York State.
Minimum Requirements- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree
- Possession of an NPI number
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program
- Three years of clinical nursing experience
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Current NYS Registered Nurse License
- ANCC or AANP certification
- NYC Certified Nurse Practitioner license
- CPR certification
- Prescriptive privileges in NYS
Salary ranges from $115,300 to $135,600 annually.
Work Environment- Work in offices and patient rooms, with possible travel to other UHS locations.
- Use PPE as per infection control policies.
