Per Diem Registered Nurse on 2 Ross Acute Care at Lourdes Hospital.

2 Ross is an 18 bed acute care unit at Guthrie Lourdes in Binghamton, NY. Our patient population includes surgical cases such as women's health, podiatry, and other routine procedures as well as a mix of general medical diagnoses.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment. Accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence‑based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; develop and coordinate care plans.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care.
• Facilitate learning for patients, families, and staff.
• Align practice with safety and quality, integrating evidence and best practice.
• Engage in professional development and promote a culture of inquiry.
• Demonstrate leadership and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in the planning and presentation of educational programs.
• Other duties include proficiency in electronic health records, teamwork, critical judgment, interpersonal skills, and managing multiple responsibilities.

• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of employment.
• BSN preferred; ongoing bachelor’s degree must be maintained if applicable.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS unit dependent.
• At least one year of RN experience, or less if transitioned from Newly Licensed Registered Nurse Residency (NLRN) Program.
• Must meet unit-specific educational and certification requirements.

• Registered Nurse in the State of Practice.
• BSN in Nursing preferred.
• Specialty Certification preferred.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, PALS unit dependent.

$39.00 - $54.12 per hour.
