Overview

Retail Account Executive - Binghamton, NY s role is part of Toast’s expansion into new verticals and the Toast Retail platform. You will join a founding team transforming how convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops operate with a consultative sales approach.

• Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops
• Generate lists of prospective accounts and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close
• Conduct product demos and develop solutions that best meet the prospect’s needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery meets sales expectations
• Leverage Salesforce (CRM) to manage all sales activities
• Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market

• Entrepreneurial and feedback-driven mindset
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills with ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team environment
• Self-motivated, creative, flexible, and willing to navigate ambiguity
• Lives in or near the market
• Willingness to travel 25% or more

The estimated Total Targeted Cash compensation range for this role is $129,000—$206,000 USD. Total Targeted Cash includes base salary, commission, benefits, and equity (if eligible). This role qualifies for uncapped commissions. Starting salary determined by skills, experience, and geographic location.
