Cannabis Brand Ambassador About the Role

As a Cannabis Brand Ambassador for Trimmr LLC, you are the essential link between our top-tier Client Brands and their success in the industry. You will be offered shift opportunities, commonly referred to as "pop-ups" at licensed dispensaries and events in your region. During these 3-4 hour shifts, you serve as the trusted, knowledgeable, and reliable face of each brand. This role is a demanding blend of sales, customer service, and brand kit management that directly impacts our clients' and their brand success in the competitive cannabis market.

We are looking for reliable, passionate, and highly motivated professionals eager to grow with us and the industry. This is a part time and on-demand role.

Core Responsibilities & Expectations
1. Punctuality, Reliability, & Accountability (The Cornerstones)
  • Reliable Commute & Setup: Commute to each "pop-up" shift with your assigned brand kit and display table, ensuring that you are prepared to drive sales by interacting with & educating customers on each product.
  • Time Management: Utilize our required mobile application to accurately clock in and clock out for all shifts, demonstrating consistent punctuality.
  • Accountable Logistics: Take full accountability for the security, organization, and inventory of one or more brand-specific kits, including requesting replacement stock well in advance of depletion.
  • Detailed Reporting: Submit comprehensive end-of-day reports immediately following the shift through the mobile app, ensuring client requirements are met.
2. Customer Engagement, Sales, & Education
  • Brand Advocacy: Act as a passionate and authentic extension of the client brand, striving to make it the customer's top choice.
  • High-Impact Sales/Marketing: Proactively engage customers, provide accurate and compelling product education, and execute strategies to drive sales and customer sign-ups (e.g., email lists, promotions).
  • Knowledge & Training: Commit to taking and excelling in continuous brand-specific training to become fully versed in every aspect of each brand's culture, product line, and competitive advantages.
  • Professional Feedback: Be open to and actively provide detailed, actionable feedback to Trimmr and clients regarding customer interactions, product interest, and operational insights.
3. Professionalism & Operational Excellence
  • Presentation: Maintain a high level of professionalism, presenting yourself well, managing your display based on client reference images, and adhering to all dress code requirements.
  • Adaptability: Independently manage the logistics of your shifts and smoothly adapt your approach to unexpected changes in the store environment (e.g., short staffing, high volume).
  • Compliance: Adhere strictly to all NYS cannabis laws, OCM guidelines, and dispensary-specific operating procedures.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience (preferred 1+ years) in sales, brand ambassador services, promotional work, retail, or high-volume customer service.
  • Industry Passion: A deep, demonstrated passion for the cannabis industry and motivation to grow professionally within it.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate clearly, engagingly, and authentically, building immediate trust and rapport.
  • Self-Starter: Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of independent decision-making, communication and problem-solving in the field.
  • Technologically Savvy: Comfortable using mobile applications for time-keeping, reporting, and communication.
  • Compliance: Must be 21+ and legally eligible to work in New York State.
