Garda World Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. The role focuses on monitoring security systems, spotting threats before they escape, and keeping premises safe.

• Schedule:
  
  Weekday shifts, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm – 12‑hour shifts
• Competitive hourly wage: $19.57 / hour

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety of premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years of security experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with surveillance systems or access control
• Customer service experience
• Ability to coordinate with team during emergencies
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent focus
• Strong technology proficiency
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience – even better
• New York Security License – required
