Installation Technician

The Security Installation Technician I will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems. This role requires a blend of technical skills and customer service excellence to ensure that each installation meets the highest standards.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Electronic Security Installation Technician I to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation and maintenance of electronic security systems, including access control systems, video surveillance systems, and intrusion detection systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technicians in installing, configuring, and testing security systems, including alarms, cameras, and access control systems.
• Learn to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to security equipment.
• Help in the preparation and organization of installation materials and tools.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to build knowledge and skills in security technology.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A Sense of humor, creativity, and positive attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interest in security systems and technology.
• Basic understanding of electronics or electrical systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, work extended hours, and travel independently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Previous experience in a related field is an advantage but not required.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, PSA) are a plus.
• Experience with specific security brands or systems is beneficial.

Physical Activities/Demands:

• Able to safely work at heights on ladders and aerial lifts
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs.
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.
• Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.

Pay and Benefits:

The base pay range for this role is $20.25 - $32.75 hourly, with overtime available. Note that wage may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base wage as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
