We Are Recruiting!

Are you an experienced supply chain professional with a passion for stock management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership? We're looking for an Inbound Merchandise Manager to join our Commercial Supply Chain team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of stock across all channels.

This is a high-profile position where you'll lead the inbound team, manage key supply chain activities, and work collaboratively with UK and international colleagues to deliver exceptional stock availability and service performance. You'll also have the opportunity to develop and inspire a team of four colleagues while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

What You'll Be Doing

As Inbound Merchandise Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop the Inbound Team, creating a high-performing and engaged environment.

  • Manage the Open to Buy (OTB) budget, reporting risks and taking appropriate action to control spend.

  • Place purchase orders in line with merchandise forecasts to ensure stock availability and meet customer demand.

  • Partner with the merchandise team to establish and monitor supply chain KPIs that balance stock, cash flow, and service performance.

  • Analyse stock performance and identify opportunities to improve service levels, reduce excess stock, and minimise supply risk.

  • Communicate stock and delivery issues to stakeholders, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact to trade.

  • Build strong working relationships across teams and with key business partners to support business objectives.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who can quickly make an impact and bring proven experience in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

You'll have:

  • Previous experience in a stock management, merchandise planning, or supply chain role.

  • Strong analytical and commercial decision-making skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • A proactive approach with the confidence to challenge, influence, and drive positive outcomes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop others.

Why Join Us?

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a critical area of the business, influence supply chain performance, and lead a talented team in a role that offers visibility across multiple business functions. You'll be empowered to make decisions, drive improvements, and contribute directly to delivering great customer outcomes.

Enjoy the benefits of flexible working in this full-time, 36.5-hour-per-week role, with a balance of home and office working, with an expectation of working three days per week in our Bingley office.
