About the Role
The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit two Administrators to support our Administration Service. The roles will support our Inpatient Wards and will be based within our Administration Hub located at the Springview Hospital.
We are looking for motivated and resourceful individuals to join our team. You should possess a commitment to team working and innovative delivery of excellent standards of work.
We are a supportive, competent and caring team. We aim to provide high quality administrative support services to our colleagues within the Acute Inpatient setting in Springview to improve the safety, health and well‑being of the people within our care.
We will ensure that you have access to internal opportunities for development with access to supervision and appraisal.
Shortlisting for this vacancy is due to commence on 11th February 2026 and the proposed interview date is 23rd February 2026.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a comprehensive administration service including diary management, attending meetings to take minutes, typing of correspondence, reports, agenda and minutes using either Winscribe or copy typing.
- Organise and prioritise your own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time deadlines are met and urgent work is accommodated.
- Deliver support to the clinical team and provide cross cover for colleagues as and when required.
- Manage a varied workload and adapt to the demands of an acute inpatient environment.
- Experience providing administrative support in an acute inpatient setting.
- Proficiency in diary management, minute taking and typing of correspondence using Winscribe or copy typing.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to provide cross cover and support the clinical team.
- Commitment to high standards, team working and innovative delivery.
- Understanding of health and care service delivery in a community setting.
- Access to internal development opportunities, supervision and appraisal.
- Fixed start date each month aligned with the Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme.
- Up to three weeks of training to support you in meeting the induction and initial training requirements of the role.
