Location: Birkenhead, Wirral (Office-Based)
Salary: £25,300 - £26,000 per annum
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
An established and growing business is seeking a Business Administrator to join its team based in Birkenhead.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to join a busy office environment where they can play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth running of administrative processes.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, highly organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
The RoleAs a Business Administrator, you will provide essential support across a range of operational and administrative activities, helping to ensure work is coordinated effectively and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinating planned and reactive works across multiple locations
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and colleagues to ensure work is completed on time
- Raising and processing work orders, quotations and purchase orders
- Monitoring progress and updating internal systems and spreadsheets
- Supporting invoicing and general contract administration
- Handling incoming calls and emails, resolving queries professionally and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records, documentation and reports
- Assisting with supplier coordination and ordering materials or equipment when required
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage a varied workload.
Skills & Experience- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience within administration, scheduling, coordination or office support would be advantageous, but is not essential
