Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 4:00pm Friday: 9:00am - 2:30pm

Salary: up to £31,356p/a

We are a well-established, family-run business with over 35 years of success and a close-knit team of approximately 12 employees. We are looking for a reliable and organised Accounts & Administration to support the day-to-day running of our office.

Key Responsibilities

Inputting financial data using Sage Line 50.
Answering incoming telephone calls and acting as the first point of contact, directing calls or dealing with accounts and administration enquiries.
Creating invoices and delivery notes.
Preparing DHL courier documentation and organising pallet collections.
Chasing outstanding debts and maintaining accurate debtor records.
Liaising with import couriers and handling customs documentation.
Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
Processing the four-weekly payroll.
Banking and reconciling payments.
Providing general administrative support to the office team.

About You

Previous experience in an accounts and administration role.
Confident user of Sage Line 50.
Strong telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Able to work independently while also contributing as part of a small, friendly team.
