Business Development Manager

Location: North West (Flexible Home or Office)

Salary: £30,000 £ 35,000 (depending on experience) plus performance-based bonus and regular company incentives.

A leading national specialist contractor within the built environment is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its Sales team.

• Developing relationships with new clients, understanding operational and compliance requirements, and preparing tailored proposals.
• Managing and growing relationships with existing customers.
• Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, partnerships, and service offerings.
• Producing sales forecasts and working proactively to achieve targets.
• Managing pipeline and key accounts through a CRM system.

• Proven ability to sell technical products or services within a B2B environment.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and translate client requirements into practical solutions.
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.

• Good awareness of market competition and industry positioning.
