Estimator, Construction, Building & Residential Construction

DCT Recruitment is looking for a permanent Estimator to join our ever growing client. Specializing in Construction, Civils, or Rail would be an advantage.

Working on a hybrid role if required.

• Responsible for calculating the costs associated with building projects.
• Use blueprints and specifications to determine the required materials and labor needed for a project.
• Analyze market prices for materials and labor to ensure accurate estimates.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the project stays within budget.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make adjustments to their estimates accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide accurate and timely estimates.
• Maintain detailed records of the estimate process, including material and labor costs.
• Multitask and prioritize various projects in order to meet deadlines.
• Responsible for negotiating terms and prices with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Have strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as attention to detail.
