Duties

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive mathematics lessons aligned with the curriculum standards.
• Assess students’ progress through regular tests, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
• Develop customised lesson plans to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
• Support students in developing problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student achievements in accordance with school policies.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.

• Strong knowledge of mathematics at secondary or higher education levels.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan engaging lessons effectively.
• Effective communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly to students of varying abilities.

• Experience with educational technology tools and digital resources is desirable but not essential.
• A QTS and PGCE are essential, with recognised teaching qualification or relevant degree in Mathematics or Education preferred.
