Prospero Teaching are supporting friendly and well-resourced primary schools across the Wirral who are looking to appoint a full-time KS2 Teacher for long-term roles starting in January. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 2 practitioner who enjoys delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they develop confidence, independence and strong academic foundations.

The role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum. You'll work closely with senior leaders and classroom support staff to create a positive learning environment where pupils feel supported, challenged and motivated to succeed. Schools are looking for committed teachers who can maintain high expectations while building strong, supportive relationships with pupils.

Responsibilities

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Creating an engaging, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress
Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
Working effectively with teaching assistants and support staff
Encouraging positive behaviour and clear classroom routines
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Confident, enthusiastic and able to deliver engaging lessons
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards
Good understanding of safeguarding and primary school policies Safeguarding
