Youth Worker

Overview

Youth Worker – 1:1 Primary School Support (Wirral) from £13.79 Per Hour. We are currently seeking a caring and resilient Youth Worker to provide 1:1 support for pupils in primary school settings. role involves supporting children with ADHD and challenging behaviour, helping them to engage positively with learning and develop appropriate emotional and behavioural skills.

• Providing 1:1 support to primary-aged pupils with ADHD and behavioural needs.
• Supporting emotional regulation, focus and positive behaviour in the classroom.
• Working closely with teachers and SEN staff.
• Encouraging social skills, confidence and positive engagement with learning.

• Has experience working with children (youth work, schools, childcare, or similar).
• Is patient, calm and confident when managing challenging behaviour.
• Has an understanding of ADHD and SEND needs (or a willingness to learn).
• Is reliable, nurturing and committed to supporting young learners.

Full‑time and part‑time roles available. Immediate starts and upcoming placements. Salary will depend on skills and experience.
