Pay: £140 - £250 per day (dependent on experience)
Spencer Clarke Group are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Wallasey who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible for the remainder of the academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident KS1 teacher to support pupils at a key stage of their learning, building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum.
Deliver effective phonics and early reading sessions.
Assess, monitor and track pupil progress.
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND.
Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Take part in staff meetings, parent consultations and wider school life.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 2.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and phonics frameworks.
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
