Academics is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bebington to recruit a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 SEND Base team. If you're enthusiastic about inclusive education and thrive on helping children flourish, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

• ✨ Work closely with pupils in the SEND Base, providing tailored support to meet diverse learning and developmental needs
• ✨ Assist in delivering engaging learning activities and interventions
• ✨ Support behaviour, independence and emotional development as part of a calm, trauma-informed approach
• ✨ Collaborate with teachers and the wider support team to create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment

• ✔ Have experience supporting pupils with special educational needs
• ✔ Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team
• ✔ Have high expectations for children's progress, behaviour and wellbeing
• ✔ Are patient, adaptable and dedicated to fostering positive outcomes for every child
• ✔ Are committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare (Enhanced DBS required)
