Are you a passionate, resilient SEND Teacher ready for a truly rewarding role?

We are recruiting a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a Secondary PRU in Leasowe, part of a well-established group of provisions across the Wirral. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new and growing site that provides a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for young people who find mainstream education challenging.

The provision supports secondary-aged pupils, with up to 20 students on roll and excellent staff-to-pupil ratios, including consistent 1:1 Teaching Assistant support. The setting focuses on re-engagement in education, emotional regulation, and personal development, supporting pupils with needs including SEMH, ADHD, challenging behaviour and ACEs.

This is a full-time temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term stability for the right candidate and the chance to help shape a growing provision.

The Role:

Plan and deliver engaging, adaptable learning tailored to individual pupil needs

Build positive relationships that foster trust, confidence and resilience

Create a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral teams and external professionals

Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development

Contribute to the wider ethos of care, respect and re-engagement

The Ideal Candidate :

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Has experience working with pupils with SEND/SEMH needs

Demonstrates strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

Is patient, flexible and emotionally resilient

Is passionate about helping young people achieve both personal and academic success
