We are recruiting a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a Secondary PRU in Leasowe, part of a well-established group of provisions across the Wirral. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new and growing site that provides a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for young people who find mainstream education challenging.

The provision supports secondary-aged pupils, with up to 20 students on roll and excellent staff‑to‑pupil ratios, including consistent 1:1 Teaching Assistant support. The setting focuses on re‑engagement in education, emotional regulation, and personal development, supporting pupils with needs including SEMH, ADHD, challenging behaviour and ACEs.

This is a full‑time temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long‑term stability for the right candidate and the chance to help shape a growing provision.

• Plan and deliver engaging, adaptable learning tailored to individual pupil needs
• Build positive relationships that foster trust, confidence and resilience
• Create a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral teams and external professionals
• Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development
• Contribute to the wider ethos of care, respect and re‑engagement

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Has experience working with pupils with SEND/SEMH needs
• Demonstrates strong behaviour management and relationship‑building skills
• Is patient, flexible and emotionally resilient
• Is passionate about helping young people achieve both personal and academic success
