Graduate Academic Teacher

Are you a recent graduate with a genuine passion for education, and a desire to gain first‑hand teaching experience inside wonderful secondary schools for the remainder of the academic year? Maybe you’re considering applying for a PGCE, but want to gain school‑based teaching experience before making a decision.

In this role as a Graduate Academic Teacher, the successful candidate would be working on a day‑to‑day basis at different secondary schools around the Warrington area, educating classes of KS3 & KS4 students across a variety of subjects. This is an ideal role for an aspiring teacher or teaching assistant, giving you the opportunity to build genuine rapport with students whilst gaining consistent, paid working experience.

• Conduct pre‑planned lessons for KS3 & KS4 students
• Work across all secondary subjects covering absences
• Create an engaging and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Build rapport with students in multiple school settings
• Day‑to‑day supply role – working across multiple secondary schools
• January 2026 to July 2026 – 08:30 am to 03:00 pm working hours
• Paid £110‑£115 per day during term time only

• Minimum 2:2 UK‑based degree
• Prior experience tutoring, mentoring or working with young people
• Natural outgoing and supportive individual
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students
• Interest in a career within education
