We have roles available for day-to-day supply, short-term cover and long-term placements, making this the perfect option for teachers seeking flexibility, stability or the chance to experience different school environments.

What the role involves

  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to primary learners.
  • Creating a warm, inclusive classroom where children feel valued, supported and motivated.
  • Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of mixed-ability classes, including pupils with SEND.
  • Using effective behaviour management to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants, phase leaders and SENCOs to support pupil progress.
  • Marking and assessing work where required, ensuring pupils receive helpful, constructive feedback.
  • Upholding excellent safeguarding standards and prioritising pupil wellbeing at all times.
  • Adapting confidently to new settings - a key strength for supply and multi-school roles.

Who we're looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 within UK primary school settings.
  • Strong behaviour management and a confident classroom presence.
  • A proactive, flexible approach and ability to work positively within new environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils, colleagues and school leaders.
  • A genuine passion for helping children thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.

Why work with Talent Board in the Wirral?

  • A diverse range of opportunities across mainstream primary schools.
  • Flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle and career ambitions.
  • Supportive, experienced consultants who take time to understand your preferences.
  • Opportunities to broaden your experience across different year groups and settings.
  • Competitive daily rates with weekly pay.
  • The chance to make a meaningful impact on children across the Wirral community.

If you're a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity in the Wirral, we'd love to hear from you.
