Talent Board is proud to be partnering with a wide range of primary, secondary and specialist SEND schools across the Wirral, and we're looking for passionate, adaptable and skilled Teachers to join our expanding team. Whether your expertise lies in Early Years, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, a specific secondary subject, or specialist SEND teaching, we can offer diverse and rewarding roles across Birkenhead, Wallasey, Bebington, Moreton, Hoylake, West Kirby and surrounding areas.

We have opportunities for day-to-day supply, short-term cover and long-term placements - ideal for teachers who value flexibility, variety and meaningful impact.

What the role involves

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that support progress and spark curiosity.
  • Creating an inclusive, positive classroom culture where all pupils feel supported and motivated.
  • Adapting teaching to meet the needs of different learners, including pupils with SEND or additional barriers to learning.
  • Managing behaviour consistently and effectively in line with school policies.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, pastoral staff and senior leaders.
  • Assessing pupils' work and providing constructive feedback when required.
  • Maintaining excellent safeguarding practices and prioritising pupil welfare.
  • Adapting quickly to new environments - a key advantage in supply or multi-school roles.

Who we're looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is essential.
  • Experience in primary, secondary or SEND settings within UK schools.
  • Strong classroom presence and confident behaviour management strategies.
  • A flexible, proactive approach and resilience when working across varied school environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • Passion for helping young people reach their full potential - academically, socially and emotionally.

An Enhanced DBS Check will be required, or applicants must be willing to obtain one.

Why work with Talent Board in the Wirral?

  • A wide variety of roles across mainstream primary, secondary and specialist SEND settings.
  • Flexible working patterns that suit your lifestyle and career goals.
  • Supportive and knowledgeable consultants who take the time to understand your strengths and preferences.
  • Opportunities to develop your skills across different phases and school types.
  • Competitive daily rates and weekly pay.
  • A chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people across the Wirral.

If you're a dedicated Teacher looking for rewarding opportunities across Wirral schools, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and start your next chapter with Talent Board.
