Teaching Personnel’s Wirral branch are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the CH64 area, who are seeking dedicated Secondary Learning Support Assistants to join their team from September 2026
.
This is an exciting opportunity to support Key Stage 3 students
, with a particular focus on Year 7 pupils transitioning into secondary education
.
- Provide in-class support to KS3 students across a range of subjects
- Assist students with additional learning needs to access the curriculum
- Support the transition of new Year 7 students into secondary school life
- Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO to deliver tailored support
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Experience working with young people (school-based or similar setting preferred)
- A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for education and supporting student development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
