History Teacher (KS3‑KS5) – 3 Days per Week

People Dynamix Education are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic secondary school on the Wirral to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher for a long‑term position starting as soon as possible.
This is a 3-day per week teaching role, initially running until Christmas
, with every expectation that the contract will continue beyond this for the right teacher.
The successful candidate will teach History across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
Experience of teaching A Level History would be advantageous but is not essential
, and applications are welcomed from strong KS3/KS4 specialists who are keen to develop.

The Role- Teach engaging and challenging History lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
- A Level teaching desirable but not essential
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement
- Assess, monitor and support student progress
- Create a positive classroom environment where every student can succeed
- Work collaboratively with an experienced Humanities department
- Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching History within UK secondary schools
- Can confidently teach KS3 and KS4 History
- Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Is passionate about delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons
- Builds positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- £135‑250 per day
, dependent on experience - Holiday pay paid separately
- A long‑term role with the potential to continue beyond Christmas
