About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Digital Skills Tutor to support adults across Wirral in developing essential digital and IT skills. The role involves delivering engaging Essential Digital Skills (EDS) and basic IT programmes in community settings, planning high‑quality teaching, monitoring learner progress, aligning with Ofsted standards, and contributing to our digital skills strategy with both independent and collaborative work.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver EDS and basic IT programmes to adult learners in diverse community settings.
  • Plan, facilitate and assess high‑quality lessons that meet Ofsted standards.
  • Monitor learner progress and adapt teaching to support diverse digital needs.
  • Collaborate with curriculum managers and colleagues to develop and refine the digital skills strategy.
  • Maintain accurate records of participation, assessment and training outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience delivering IT or digital skills training to adult learners of varying ability.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Passion for promoting digital inclusion and building learner confidence.

Applicants must hold an existing right to work in the UK before commencing employment. Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available for this post. Eligibility to work in the UK will be verified in the final stages of the selection process.
