History Teacher (KS3-KS5) Outstanding Opportunity | Fantastic Wirral Secondary School | 3 Days per Week

People Dynamix Education are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic secondary school on the Wirral to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher for a long-term position starting as soon as possible.

This is a 3‑day per week teaching role, initially running until Christmas
, with every expectation that the contract will continue beyond this for the right teacher.

The successful candidate will teach History across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Experience of teaching A Level History would be advantageous but is not essential
, and applications are welcomed from strong KS3/KS4 specialists who are keen to develop.

• Teach engaging and challenging History lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
• A Level teaching desirable but not essential
• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement
• Assess, monitor and support student progress
• Create a positive classroom environment where every student can succeed
• Work collaboratively with an experienced Humanities department
• Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching History within UK secondary schools
• Can confidently teach KS3 and KS4 History
• Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Is passionate about delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons
• Builds positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

• £135-£250 per day
  , dependent on experience
• Holiday pay paid separately
