Protocol are pleased to be working with a leading Further Education provider in The Wirral to recruit a Temporary GCSE Maths Lecturer
.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Maths professional to support learners studying Mathematics from Entry Level through to GCSE. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, inspire learner achievement, and play a key role in helping students develop the mathematical skills needed for further study and employment.

• Deliver high-quality GCSE and Functional Skills Maths teaching to a diverse range of learners.
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements and support learner success.
• Use a variety of teaching and assessment methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support learners in achieving their targets.
• Prepare students for examinations and assessments through effective revision and intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute positively to curriculum team activities.

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent).
• A relevant Maths qualification at Level 4/5 or above.
• A minimum Level 2 qualification in English.
• Previous experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths within Further Education, secondary education, or a similar setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and an understanding of current Maths curriculum requirements.
• The ability to motivate and engage learners from a range of educational backgrounds.

• Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience.
• Ongoing support from a dedicated Protocol consultant.
